Alaska Airlines and UW Reach Agreement on $41M Husky Stadium Naming Deal

Big money continues to pour into Husky athletics. The renovation of Husky Stadium cost over $280M, and now Alaska Airlines is paying $41M to "rename" Husky Stadium for 10 years. This is in addition to the $700K/yr they already pay for the naming rights to Hec Ed. The University of Washington and locally-based airline Alaska Airlines have been working on this deal for a year, and it is expected to be approved by the Board of Regents next week.
